good morning/afternoon/evening MOM,xx speaking..

today is my first day of work at MOM call centre..received a phone call from the job agency at slightly after 10am..the lady asked me to go down to the synergy and start work at 1130..didn't know MOM's call centre is located inside the synergy building..

the lady told me that the job is on an ad hoc basis, so i'm supposed to be on standby mode everyday at 9am to await their call and see if they need me to work for the day..however, the person-in-charge at MOM called at ard 8pm to ask if i'll be able to commit till end of june..so i'll be working from tomorrow onwards till end of june..working means that there's income for me, but i'll have less time for friends =( i have pushed my tuition sessions with jeremy to the weekends, most probably on sundays since he goes church on saturdays..things will be back to normal after june =)

one gd thing about the job is that it is very near my house..i can take bus no. 99 or 105 and it's 7 stops away only..rather short journey..made a new friend at the call centre..her name is doreen..went with her for lunch since she sat near me and the person-in-charge arranged for us to go for lunch together..it's also her first day..she took the same bus as me to go home as well because she needs to go clementi station..she asked for my hp no. b4 going into the station ctrl and we exchanged numbers..

after the person-in-charge called me, i msged her to ask if she'll be going tomorrow..she will also be going tomorrow and she said we can go source for cheaper food..hee..we didn't know where to have lunch today and we asked the security guard where is the nearest place where we can eat..we ate at the cafeteria inside the strategy building..the food there is quite ex..she will also be able to commit till end of june..so hopefully we'll be able to lunch together everyday then we'll have company =)

watching da vinci code tomorrow..hope it's nice..though i've heard enough negative comments about it..ha
